average earnings one can anticipate in the Hospitality Department, depending
on the position, vary from for $1,200 to $2,400 per week! (Considering

When you work on a Cruise Liner, you will open an account with the Pursers
Office (on board), where your earnings will accumulate or you may
choose to obtain your weekly pay in cash or have it wired straight into
your account in your home country. (in Australia, New Zealand, U.K.,
USA, Japan or anywhere in the world) To obtain your weekly pay you
will only need your signature and your Crew Card.
Employment regulations & requirements
These are the necessary requirements for you to
join a Cruise Ship:
- Your
passport should be valid for at least another year. (to avoid having
to re-new it while overseas)
- You
will need to obtain a recent certificate of medical examination.
- Confirm
with a particular consulate if you need to obtain a visa for entering
the country where you will be joining your ship.
- Confirm your airline reservation 48 hours prior to your departure.
